USTB Bachelor Application can be accomplished through online system. The hard copy of documents are not required to post.

The entrance exam for bachelor will be arranged until further notice.

Program Information

Bachelors are required to complete the curriculum within 4 years, fulfill the designate credits, complete the thesis and defend it in front of a panel of experts. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor degree, according to the regulation of the Degree Committee.

Application Prerequisites

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, have attained required language level and degree.

2. Applicants for bachelor must be under age of 35, have attained high school graduation certificate, and pass the entrance exam of USTB.

Note: 1、Owing to the limited number of rooms, students can live off-campus if they fail to check in on campus.

2、All international students must be medically insured through out their entire period of study. Students are required to purchase the medical Insurance on the day of registration. Students who do not have valid medical insurance will not be allowed to register.

2, Take the entrance examination.(Examination time will be announced by email.)

    Examination Time: May, June (Candidates choose one to take the examination.)

English program or International Economics and Trade (1+3) program doesn't need to take the exam.

a) Chinese-Medium Programs: HSK 4; 

b) English-Medium Programs (for applicants from Non-English Speaking Countries): IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 70/Official English Proficiency Certificate;

6, Letter of Financial Guarantor;    Letter of Financial Guarantee (Commitment)

Admission Result

International Student Center of USTB will publish admission list at the end of June and send the Admission Letter and JW202 form at the beginning of July. Please fulfill the application form with detailed mail address and post code or other receiving methods.

Registration Period

Around the beginning of September every year (specified in the Admission Letter). Students should register on time.

Students also should take with your original graduation certificate for reviewing when register in USTB.

1) Bilateral Program (type A)

Applicants shall apply to the Chinese Embassy or the dispatching authorities for overseas study in their home countries. Generally the application period is from November to next April. Please confirm the specific date before application. When applicants apply in the system, need to choose USTB as the first choice.

2, USTB Chancellor Scholarship

Applicant may apply USTB Chancellor Scholarship, including Full Scholarship (tuition, living allowance, accommodation, insurance) and Partial Scholarship.

3, Beijing Government Scholarship

Applicants may apply Beijing Government Scholarship, including part of tuition (CNY20000/year, CNY15000/year, CNY10000/year, CNY5000/year)

Accommodation

1, Students who live in the dormitory will be registered for Residence Permit by dorm reception.

2, Students who live off campus must register to the local police station for Residence Permit by themselves within 24 hours.

Visa Information

Students admitted to USTB may apply for X visa at the Chinese Embassy in your country with your Admission Letter and JW201/202 Form, which will valid for 30 days after you arrived in China. You must come to International Student Center and apply for a Study Residence Permit within 30 days.
