The USTB Chancellor Scholarship is set up to attract international students and scholars to study and conduct research in USTB, as well as to promote the internationalization of its higher education.

Scholarship Coverage

Full scholarship: Tuition fee, Free on-campus dormitory, Living allowance (CNY2500/Mon for bachelor, CNY3000/Mon for master, CNY3500/Mon for PhD), Comprehensive Medical Insurance

Partial scholarship

Program Categories and Duration

1, This scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate programs. Scholarship duration is 4 years for bachelors, 2-3 years for masters and 3-4 years for doctors.

2, The scholarship duration specified in the Admission Letter, cannot be extended in general.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

-be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health;

-be a high school graduation certificate holder under the age of 25 when applying for bachelor programs;

-be a bachelor degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for master programs;

-be a master degree holder under the age of 45 when applying for doctoral programs.

-for Chinese program, the entrance exam result ranks high;

 for English program, have TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6 or above.

-not have any other scholarship support;

Approval and Notification

1, International student center will declare the names of successful candidates in June, and will send out admission letters in July.

2, If applicants fail to register before the deadline for registration, their scholarship will be cancelled.
