In his opening remarks, Deputy Director Zhang Hu systematically introduced the overall plan and strategic goals of the course development project. He made clear that MOOC production is a key part of the project and that its overall requirements, acceptance standards, and timelines must strictly follow the Center’s requirements. He explained: “As a core vehicle of the new infrastructure for education, MOOCs are not only an innovation in the application of technology, but also a strategic fulcrum for supporting the transformation of international student education in China from scale expansion to quality improvement. By developing high-quality MOOC courses, we can break through the time and space constraints of traditional teaching and provide global learners with immersive and personalized learning experiences, thereby significantly enhancing the international competitiveness of international student education in China.”

To strengthen the effectiveness of cooperation, Deputy Director Zhang Hu expressed his expectations for the production companies and course teams. He called on both sides to be guided by “developing premium courses,” deeply integrate educational concepts with technical practice, ensure that course content has both academic depth and cultural adaptability, and ultimately produce a batch of exemplary and benchmark MOOC resources.

In the core session of the meeting, the MOOC production companies presented their preliminary preparations in turn, covering course design frameworks, filming technical plans, and quality control processes. Through case analysis and interactive demonstrations, company representatives explained in detail the standardized process from script writing to post-production, and provided specialized training for the course leaders.
