2024 USTB Application Guide for Bachelor of International Students

English-Taught Programs
Bachelor: Environmental Engineering,
Materials Science and Engineering
Specific Bachelor Program
International Economics and Trade (1+3). Applicant can apply without Chinese foundation, learn Chinese in 1st year and study specialized courses in next 3 years. After completing the graduation requirements, students can obtain the bachelor degree in the major of international economics and trade.
Application Deadline
June 15th. It is recommended that you apply as soon as possible, preferably before May 5th.
（The application deadline of scholarship is different.）
Application Process
1. Apply in the online system.
2. Review of application materials; Applicants for bachelor programs need to attend the entrance exam. (Exam subjects: Chinese, Mathematics, Physics, etc. Exam time: May or June)
3. Notify the admission results.
4. Issue admission notice and JW form.

Scholarships
The following scholarships are available for selection. The scholarship will be provided based on the admission test results.
Chinese Government Scholarship
Including tuition fee, free accommodation, living allowance, medical insurance
Type A: Apply through the Chinese embassy in your country between November and next March. Applicants choose Type-A and “USTB” as the first choice when apply in the system. And applicants may contact us by email for Pre-Admission.
Type B: Apply to USTB directly. Application Deadline is April 30th.
USTB Chancellor Scholarship
Full scholarship includes tuition fee, free accommodation, living allowance, medical insurance;
Partial scholarship has one or some items.
Apply to USTB directly. Application Deadline is April 30th.
Beijing Government Scholarship
Including part of tuition fee
Apply to USTB directly. Application Deadline is June 15th.
